As we gear up for the school year here at the Museum, we are kicking off a Back to School scholarship campaign to raise funds for children from Title-I schools to receive field trips to the Museum. At the moment, schools requesting field trip scholarships are being placed on a waitlist because of lack of funds. Last school year, scholarship requests from Title-I schools grew by an outstanding 60%, creating an increased need for support. Our science, art, and world culture workshops are sometimes the only chance young students have to learn through hands-on play in a structured educational environment, and we are only able to offer assistance because of donors like you.
